Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Name and mobile number used for booking and OTP verification.
• Selected salon, service, booking date, time and booking status.
• Approximate or precise location only when you allow location access.

How we use information

We use this information to verify users, reserve priority slots, issue booking codes, show bookings to the selected salon and handle support, fraud prevention and legal obligations.

A customer’s current location is used in the browser only to sort nearby salons and is not saved by PehliSeat. A salon owner may save the shop’s coordinates so customers can see distance and open directions.

Who can access it

The selected salon can view the customer name, mobile number, service, time and booking status needed to provide the booking. Firebase supports phone verification. Cashfree processes the online booking payment; PehliSeat stores payment references and status, not the customer’s UPI PIN or full card details.

Retention and choices

We retain booking and transaction records only as long as reasonably required for service, disputes, accounting, fraud prevention and applicable law. You may request account deletion from Profile > Delete account after mobile verification. Requests are processed manually, with a target of 30 days. Submission does not immediately delete the account or cancel bookings. We review pending bookings, refunds and salon payouts before completion and notify the verified mobile of completion or any delay and revised timeframe. Account authentication and personal fields no longer needed are removed, and an owned salon listing is closed. Legally required transaction, dispute, fraud-prevention records and a minimal deletion audit may be retained for the required period. Saved looks are stored only in your browser and can be removed by clearing site data. For access, correction or help with deletion, email us.
